Building Manager Opportunity in Sydney!

Sydney Building Management & Projects is a fast-growing facilities management company servicing premium strata titled buildings across greater Sydney. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Building Manager to join our team and take the next step in their career.

About the Role

As a Building Manager at SBMP, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of one or more strata titled buildings, depending on the size and complexity of the portfolio. Working closely with our Senior Building Managers and supported by an administrative assistant, you will ensure high standards of building presentation, compliance, and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular building inspections to ensure presentation, cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are upheld.

Manage reactive and preventive maintenance, coordinate contractors, and support delivery of capital works projects.

Handle invoicing, assist with budget preparation, and maintain detailed building management reports.

Ensure compliance with site procedures, WHS legislation, and environmental standards.

Build strong relationships with strata committees, residents, and contractors to deliver exceptional service.

Skills & Attributes:

Reliable, efficient, and resourceful with a can-do attitude.

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Candidates with transferable experience from strata management or facilities management will be considered.

Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding client expectations.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Residential Building, Strata, or Facilities Management.

Right to work in Australia (full-time).

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn new systems.

Australian driver’s license and access to a vehicle (required for travel).

White Card and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

What We Offer:

Supportive Team: You will have an assistant to take care of administrative functions, allowing you to focus on strategic and high-value tasks.

Competitive Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per annum + Super (dependent on experience).

Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM (typical but subject to operational needs)
