We are seeking an experienced and proactive Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and tenant relations of [commercial/residential/mixed-use] properties. The ideal candidate will ensure the building runs efficiently, remains in top condition, and provides a safe, welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and repairs.

Supervise and coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.

Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with building codes and regulations.

Manage building budgets, including operating expenses, maintenance costs, and capital improvements.

Monitor and maintain systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security.

Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, service requests, and emergency situations.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Prepare reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and expenditures.

Support lease administration, move-ins, and move-outs as required.

Implement energy-efficient and cost-saving initiatives when possible.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Building Manager, Facilities Manager, or similar role.

Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Ability to manage budgets and work with vendors effectively.

Understanding of occupational health and safety standards.
