Coast Distributors is a leading provider of commercial ice machines and are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse assistant to join our team at our Berkeley NSW warehouse reporting to the warehouse manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our daily warehouse and shipping operations whilst providing excellent customer service and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our processes.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Picking & packing customer orders using RF scanner system.

Loading and unloading of shipment containers.

Inspection and quality control of products prior to dispatch

Plugging and Leading of ice machines (full training will be provided)

Participate in yearly stock takes.

Delivery and pick up of ice machines and parts

Ensuring WH&S and company policies are maintained in all activities

Re-organizing the warehouse periodically

Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse

Other warehouse operations and tasks as advised by warehouse manager

Knowledge of Power tools and how to use them.

AC & Refrigeration qualification would be advantageous.

Ideal Attributes for candidates

Preferred certification or relevant background in warehouse operations

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record & forklift license essential.

Ability to work flexible hours when required

Computer literacy to enable access to online freight booking.

Appropriate physical fitness to undertake the position's duties

Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks

Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise work load

Must have permanent right to work in Australia
