Forté Healthcare is an Australian manufacturer of premium medical mattresses, proudly based in Armidale, NSW. We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Truck Driver / Factory Hand to join our growing team.

About the Role

In this position, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products are safely transported and our operations run smoothly. You’ll complete regular delivery runs to Sydney and Brisbane, handle loading/unloading, and assist with general warehouse or production tasks when not on the road.

Note: Warehouse role not essential but for the individual who is looking to supplement to truck driving role with additional work this is ideal. Truck driving role will be paid at approx. $950 /trip, warehouse role $35hr casual rate.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Weekly trip to Sydney (typically 1–2 nights away)

Monthly trip to Brisbane

Loading, unloading, and securing mattresses and materials

Cleaning and maintaining the truck

Assisting in the factory and warehouse on non-travel days

Typical Weekly Schedule:

Monday /Tuesday Factory Assistance

Wednesday / Thursday - Sydney Trip

Friday - Rest Day

What We’re Looking For

MR Licence (minimum requirement)

Proven long-distance driving experience

Physically fit and capable of manual handling

Flexibility and readiness to adapt to change

Well-presented, excellent communication skills and professional – this is a customer-facing role

Basic mechanical understanding and problem-solving ability

Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
