Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, People & Culture to lead the development and delivery of strategic people initiatives across a thriving organisation. This role will work closely with senior leaders to create an engaging and supportive workplace, build workforce capability, and foster a culture where employees can grow and succeed. The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic thinking, hands-on HR expertise, and leadership influence to drive initiatives across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement people strategies that enhance workforce effectiveness and support organisational objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, ensuring the organisation attracts and develops top talent.
- Lead the creation, review, and implementation of policies and procedures that align with best practice and compliance requirements.
- Design and manage performance management processes, career development programs, and talent initiatives to support staff growth.
- Provide guidance on remuneration, benefits, and reward strategies to ensure competitive and fair practices.
- Develop and implement learning and professional development programs to upskill staff and support succession planning.
- Optimise HR systems and use data insights to guide decision-making and inform strategic planning.
- Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and change initiatives.
- Promote a positive organisational culture, supporting collaboration, engagement, and leadership development.
Your Profile
The ideal Senior Manager, People & Culture will have proven experience leading strategic HR initiatives and fostering a positive, values-driven workplace. A professional, approachable, and collaborative style is essential in this leadership role, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leaders across the organisation.
- Essential: Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in HR or People & Culture leadership, ideally with exposure to complex workforce management and organisational development within Aged Care or Not for Profit organisations.
- Strong expertise in workforce planning, talent management, performance frameworks, and employee relations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement people strategies that drive engagement, professional growth, and organisational effectiveness.
- Proven skills in coaching leaders, resolving workplace matters, and leading change initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building abilities, with experience working closely with senior leadership and diverse teams.
