Role & Company Overview
Our client is a global investment management firm with a strong reputation across ETFs and Managed Funds, with US$5Trillion AUM. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Investment Operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Investment Operations.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate projects across investment operations, driving process improvements, risk mitigation and standardisation across global teams. You’ll work closely with internal teams, key stakeholders and external partners to design and deliver efficient, scalable operating models that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery:

• Lead the coordination and delivery of Investment Operations projects from initiation through to implementation
• Manage timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

• Collaborate with multiple business functions across State Street Investment Management to define and document requirements
• Analyse complex data and end-to-end processes to identify opportunities for process improvement, risk mitigation and enhanced controls

Specification & Communication:

• Work with IT, Operations and Administration teams to align current and future state models, ensuring consistency and clarity in change management
• Maintain robust project documentation, tracking scope, milestones, issues and risks

Validation & Testing:

• Define test conditions and success criteria for system changes, in addition to leading or participate in testing, defect management and issue resolution throughout testing cycles
• Support system deployment, training and post-implementation review to ensure user acceptance and operational readiness

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role within investment management or financial services
• Strong knowledge of global financial instruments (ETFs and Managed Funds) and investment operations processes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Project
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver results in a dynamic environment
• A proactive, accountable professional with strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
