Knox General Practice and Family Medicine and Medi Weight Loss are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services in a collaborative environment. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to play a dual role, supporting both our GP services and comprehensive weight loss programs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to diversify your nursing career. The successful candidate will work consistently two days per week (Tuesdays and Fridays, with occasional cover for other nurses, as needed).

You will split your time between:

Knox GP – providing general practice support, including chronic disease management, vaccinations, and treatment room coordination.

Medi Weight Loss – delivering personalised care for patients on weight loss journeys, conducting body composition scans, and assisting with consultations and patient support.

Key Responsibilities

General Practice (Knox GP):

Chronic disease management and health assessments

Triage and wound care

Vaccinations and iron infusions

Cold chain management and infection control

Recall and reminder systems using HOTDOC

Weight Loss Clinic (Medi Weight Loss):

Conduct 45-minute initial assessments and eligibility screenings

Perform body composition scans and interpret results

Assist with customised care plans and set realistic health goals

Provide ongoing patient support, education, and progress monitoring

Skills & Experience

AHPRA registration (EEN or RN)

Proficiency in medical software (Best Practice experience preferred)

Strong communication and organisational skills

A caring, patient-centred approach

Experience in general practice or weight management (desirable but not essential)
