The Cruising Yacht Club of SA, North Haven, is currently seeking services of a self-motivated, enthusiastic and team orientated Business Administrator to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity (up to 0.6FTE role with flexibility).
The Business Administrator position will report directly to the Financial Controller and holds an important role within the small but dynamic Finance and Administration team. The position requires a professional person to assist the Financial Controller in creating management financial reports as well as other administrative tasks.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Assistance with budget and monthly management reporting
Accrual and end of month journals and general ledger reconciliations
Preparation monthly IAS/BAS
Liase with IT contractor to resolve staff IT issues and new software implementation
Assist with updating Club policies, procedures and SOP's
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:
A high level of attention to detail
Exceptional customer service standards and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base
Well developed time management and organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and general accounting systems
Knowledge in basic IT skills
Would suit a student studying business/accountancy who is motivated to obtain on the job experience however other candidates with suitable experience encouraged to apply. Hours and days are flexible within normal Monday to Friday office hours.
