THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently recruiting ambitious and dedicated individuals to join our paralegal team on a casual basis of 1-2 days per week, with the potential for additional hours and the opportunity for advancement. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in various legal tasks, including:

· engaging with clients, solicitors, barristers, Courts (both State and Federal), government departments, and third parties;

· drafting legal correspondences, Court documents and Titles Forms;

· responsively managing email and telephone inquiries;

· legal research;

· direct engagement with our team of lawyers (including Partners); and

· providing administrative support.

ABOUT YOU

While prior legal experience is advantageous, it's not required. We're seeking candidates in their penultimate or final year of university, with a minimum GPA of 5.0 who display the following qualities:

· a genuine passion for acquiring new legal skills and knowledge;

· the ability to exercise common sense and take initiative;

· a proactive and adaptable approach to tackling challenges;

· exceptional time management and organisational skills;

· excellent verbal and written communication skills; and

· a meticulous eye for detail
