About the Role

As a Residential Aged Care Cleaner, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across our facilities.
You’ll work as part of a supportive, friendly team to ensure every area — from residents’ rooms to common spaces — is kept clean, comfortable, and inviting.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients, families, and visitors with warmth and respect

Perform daily cleaning duties, including:

Cleaning glass, mirrors, and high-touch surfaces

Dusting and damp dusting (including high areas)

Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors

Waste collection and safe disposal

Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively

Work collaboratively with your team to maintain a high standard of presentation throughout the facility

Follow and adhere to WHS policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For

A positive attitude and genuine care for older people

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic

12 months previous cleaning experience in aged care preferred

Understanding of hygiene, infection control, and safety practices

Current police check, flu and covid vaccinations
