DieselWorx Pty Ltd is a growing, well-equipped Mechanical Workshop located in Wingfield SA.

We are looking for a - Qualified Diesel Mechanic

Experience in Heavy Road Transport and Heavy Earthmoving

Experience with Trucks, Trailers and a background working within the Heavy Road Transport Sector.

Minimum 3-5 years of heavy road transport experience is required.

Earthmoving Experience.

Position is available for immediate start.

Reporting to the Manager/Workshop Manager your duties will include, but not be limited to:

Carry out scheduled services on various vehicles and equipment - Road transport and heavy earthmoving equipment.

Diagnose and fault find mechanical and electrical problems.

Carry out truck and trailer maintenance, inspections & repairs.

Complete required paperwork e.g., job cards, service sheets, etc at the completion of each job.

Carry out general workshop duties as required.

Attend breakdowns and field service when required.

Communicate with all staff and Management.

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in a workshop environment with the following attributes.

Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Earthmoving

Heavy Vehicle License - minimum MR (For Heavy Road Transport Only) or willing to obtain

Experience in diagnosing and repairing general mechanical faults

Japanese, CAT / Cummins or adequate Diesel engine experience

Demonstrate a willingness to undertake general repairs

Roadside experience, field service experience

Meet strict deadlines.

Reliable with a good work ethic.

Motivated and team orientated

Medically fit and prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical.

Auto Electrical, diagnostic and Air- conditioning experience will be highly regarded.

This position is available for immediate start.

Hours will be Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm - (9.5hrs per day with overtime paid)

If required, after hours breakdowns and Saturday work available.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience.
