About the role

Carroll Lawyers is seeking a Solicitor to join our dynamic legal team in our Sydney CBD office. This is a full-time role where you will provide high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients in commercial and employment litigation with the option to gain experience in a variety of other practice areas, including defamation, media and administrative law.

What you'll be doing

Managing a diverse caseload of commercial and employment disputes with the option to work in other practice areas should you wish

Dealing directly with clients, providing strategic and commercial advice on the most effective resolution of their legal issues

Preparing and filing court documents, representing clients in court proceedings and negotiating settlements

Conducting legal research and analysis

Collaborating with a team of solicitors and paralegals

What we're looking for

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Admission as a Solicitor and a current practising certificate

at least 1-year post-admission experience, preferably in a commercial and/or employment law.

Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Commercial acumen and the ability to provide practical, client-focused advice

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
