We are seeking an experienced Senior Generalist Solicitor to join a respected Community Legal Centre in Broken Hill. This role goes beyond standard practice, it's about delivering access to justice, shaping social change, and leading within a values-driven community organisation.

What you'll do

• Provide high-quality, free and accessible legal services to vulnerable communities in Far West NSW.
  
• Represent clients in Broken Hill and Wilcannia Local Courts, including duty lawyer services.
  
• Deliver outreach to towns including Wilcannia, Menindee, Ivanhoe, Tibooburra and White Cliffs.
  
• Contribute to community legal education and law reform to strengthen access to justice.
  
• Mentor and guide legal practitioners, supporting a collaborative, community-focused team.
  

About you

• At least 3 years' post-admission experience with an unrestricted NSW Practising Certificate.
  
• Strong experience in legal advice, advocacy, and representation, ideally with disadvantaged clients.
  
• Confident working across diverse areas of law with autonomy and resilience.
  
• Skilled in mentoring, team collaboration, and community engagement.
  
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel locally with a team for outreach work
