Senior Software Developer - B2B SaaS | North Sydney | Hybrid | Up to $160K + Super

We're looking for a product-minded developer who wants to do more than just ship code - someone who can talk to the business, understand what needs to be built, and help make it happen in a clean, scalable way.

You'd be joining a growing product team working on a B2B SaaS platform used globally across compliance and risk. The platform's already proven - this is about improving it, expanding it, and building the right things, the right way.

You'll work across the stack with TypeScript, Node, React, and MongoDB, in a microservices environment. There's AWS under the hood, CI/CD pipelines in place, and a real focus on code that performs and scales. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, including service delivery, to understand and shape the features we deliver.

What the work looks like

Building features and services that are secure, reliable, and scalable

Working directly with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into working code

Writing clean, maintainable TypeScript with strong test coverage

Helping improve system performance, architecture, and resilience

Contributing to team knowledge, pairing, and shared ownership of the codebase

Participating in operational support and ongoing improvement of our systems and processes

What you'll need

7+ years of professional development experience, including strong use of TypeScript

Deep experience across the MERN stack - MongoDB, Express, React, Node

Strong understanding of microservices and how to break down monolithic codebases

Solid API design skills, with a focus on REST, security, and third-party integration

Comfort working with AWS (Fargate, RDS, etc.) and automated deployment pipelines

A user-focused approach to frontend development - accessible, clean, and efficient interfaces

A habit of writing secure, testable, and modular code that others can work with

Bonus if you've worked with AI tools to improve your workflow - but not essential
