Rate: 850 + super per day + WFH Hybrid – 2 days in office and rest WFH

About the Role

You are an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong TypeScript, Node.js, React, and familiarity with AWS Lambda skills to join a major NSW Government digital transformation program.

This is an opportunity to work on high-impact public sector projects where your full stack development expertise will directly contribute to building modern, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer, you will:

• Design, build, and maintain TypeScript applications across the Node.js backend and React.js frontend.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications with AWS Lambda , API Gateway, and other AWS services.
• Deliver high-quality code and contribute to full software development lifecycle in agile squads.
• Implement front end React components that are secure, accessible, and performant.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations in Node.js / TypeScript.
• Ensure applications meet NSW Government technical standards, security frameworks, and accessibility requirements.
• Work closely with designers, product owners, and testers in an agile delivery environment.

Skills & Experience
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer / Developer with:

• Proven experience as a TypeScript Developer across backend and frontend projects.
• Strong backend development using Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Expertise with React / React.js for modern web development.
• Hands-on skills with AWS Lambda functions and serverless frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing.
• Ability to work in fast-paced agile environments.

Highly regarded but not essential:

• Experience working on NSW Government or public sector projects.
