The Midway Tavern is seeking a full-time Gaming Manager.

If you believe in exceptional customer service and working within a supportive team environment, this role is for you.

As Gaming Manager, you will play a key role within our leadership team, having responsibility over a busy gaming room, including compliance matters and staff training. You will be supported by a highly experienced management team at the Hotel and Head Office, as well as your colleagues at other venues within our group.

Responsibilities include;

Delivery of exceptional customer service at all times, directly and through your team

Plan and implement promotions within a set budget

Be an ambassador for J-Card loyalty program

Monitor & maintain compliance with licensing requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate these attributes;

Track record in delivering exceptional service

Proven leadership; able train others, build a strong team and resolve conflict

Effective problem solving skills

Strong knowledge of gaming and Keno

Relevant licensing approval and gaming certificates (including current Advanced, or Further Advanced, training certificate)

Sound cash handling skills

Flexibility to work hours appropriate to business needs, generally Tuesday-Saturday

Excellent support is available to our Gaming Managers who have the opportunity to learn and grow within the industry. You will be given the autonomy to be creative with promotions and customer service initiatives, working within a set budget. You will need to be available for occasional weekend and night work however, most weeks will be consistent with Sundays and Mondays off.
