About the role

Hawthorne Coffee, a vibrant and growing café in Hawthorne QLD 4171, is seeking an experienced Barista to join our team. This is a casual position, offering 35 plus hours per week with the option to progress into a full-time cafe manager role.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages to a high standard

Ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive café experience

Maintaining a clean and well-organised work environment

Collaborating with the team to optimize café operations

Assisting with inventory management and stock control

What we're looking for

At least 2 years' experience as a Barista in a fast-paced café environment

Excellent coffee knowledge and the ability to expertly craft a range of coffee drinks

Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional café experience

The ability to work effectively as part of a team and to take direction

Good time management and the ability to work efficiently under pressure

An upbeat, friendly and professional demeanour
