BlendED National is a new and exciting initiative of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA), providing flexible, inclusive education for young people across the country who are unable to access traditional schooling.

Delivered online by a multidisciplinary team, BlendED National supports young people through trauma-informed, relationship-based learning that prioritises safety, connection, and individualised support. The program is designed to meet the needs of young people experiencing complex barriers to education, and is grounded in EREA’s commitment to educational equity and radical inclusion.

Our Young People

Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, environmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices.

We recognise that each young person’s journey is unique. Our staff are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and empowering learning environment where young people can develop confidence, reconnect with education, and work towards their goals.

Our Team

BlendED National is opening its first school in Hobart, Tasmania, with a newly formed team which includes a Principal, Deputy Principal, Program Directors, Instructional Leaders, Teachers and Youth Workers.

The Role

We are looking for highly skilled ICT Service Engineers to join our team. The role will be responsible for providing ICT Services ranging from IT Infrastructure to IT Support.

You will be employed on an ongoing basis, commencing Term 1, 2026, and will be employed in accordance with the State Based Enterprise Agreement.

For Tasmania: Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024

Salary is within the range of $80,000 to $90,000 depending on experience.

You will need

• Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty

• Degree in Business Management or related field or equivalent education and experience.

• Hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain, and a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months), or hold a current Teaching registration.

• All applicants must hold a valid Working with Vulnerable People Check, or be eligible to obtain.

• 3 years of experience in a similar role within an education setting.

• Experience in developing and maintaining administrative processes which support efficient and compliant operations.

• Collaborative team player with the ability to build quality working relationships.
