As a Senior Communication Officer, you will:

• provide communication advice to support the department's strategic objectives in the areas of child safety, seniors, disability services, community services, and domestic and family violence prevention
• develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies and initiatives in line with departmental priorities and incorporating print and online publishing, digital and social media, advertising, promotion, and sponsorship.
• write and edit print and digital material, including publications, online and social media content, e-newsletters, presentations, advertising and feature stories tailored to meet the needs of diverse internal and external audiences.
• identify opportunities and deliver initiatives that promote positive outcomes from departmental reforms or initiatives.
• build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with branch colleagues, departmental clients and staff at all levels, including senior officers.
