Job description:

We are currently seeking compassionate, skilled Support Workers to provide high-quality care to clients from the City to Southeast & Western Melbourne. If you are empathetic, reliable, and experienced, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
 Assist with community access and recreational activities
 Provide personal care including showering, toileting, and hygiene support
 Support mobility through manual handling and the use of equipment (e.g., hoists, wheelchairs)
 Assist with transportation and encourage social engagement
 Perform light domestic duties (e.g., meal preparation, cleaning)

Requirements
 3+ years of experience in support work (professional or lived experience)
 Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs and complex behaviours
 Skilled in using hoists, PEG feeding, and epilepsy management
 Flexible availability and willingness to take on field assignments as needed
 Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
 Vaccinated against COVID-19

Essential Criteria
 Understanding of the disability and community services sector
 Commitment to person-centred support
 NDIS Worker Screening Check
 Legal right to work in Australia
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 A compassionate approach and genuine interest in supporting people with disabilities

Required Certifications
 First Aid & CPR Certification
 Working with Children Check
 National Police Clearance
 Driver License
