You can apply for one or more roles, depending on your skills, experience, and interests.
1. Day Program Coordinator
About the Role
Do you light up a room with your passion and creativity, lead with heart, and have the organisational skills to match?
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll oversee Bea Care’s Day Programs and group activities, ensuring every participant experiences meaningful, person-centred support that aligns with their NDIS goals.
You'll split your time between coordinating the program, supervising staff, and working directly with participants. It’s a dynamic and rewarding position — juggling priorities, leading a team, and collaborating with allied health professionals, families, and community partners. If you thrive under pressure and get genuine satisfaction from seeing people achieve their goals, this could be your perfect fit.
This is your chance to truly shape and innovate our programs. We’re looking for someone who brings fresh ideas, creativity, and leadership — someone who sees possibilities, embraces innovation, and drives meaningful participant experiences.
We are open to full-time or part-time hours, depending on the successful applicant.
What You’ll Do
Lead and innovate: Oversee daily operations of group activities, bringing creative approaches to ensure they’re engaging, person-centred, and aligned with participant goals.
Provide direct support: Work hands-on with participants in both individual and group settings, fostering independence and community inclusion.
Supervise and develop staff: Mentor and guide support workers and students, coordinate training and induction, and provide ongoing feedback and supervision.
Collaborate with stakeholders: Communicate effectively with participants, families, allied health professionals, and community partners.
Champion safety and quality: Manage risk, uphold participant rights, and maintain accurate, confidential records in line with NDIS Practice Standards.
Advocate for participants: Keep their needs, preferences, and goals at the centre of all decision-making.
Drive improvement: Review and enhance program delivery to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
Report and communicate: Notify management of any incidents, risks, or reportable matters promptly.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
Qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or related field (or significant relevant experience), Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
Proven experience supervising or leading staff in disability, community, or health services.
Demonstrated experience providing direct support and understanding person-centred practice.
Experience coordinating programs or group activities in day or community settings.
NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
Strong IT, administrative, and organisational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across diverse stakeholders.
Understanding of (or willingness to learn) NDIS Practice Standards.
Desirable:
Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Aged Care; Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing; Allied Health qualification; or current enrolment in a relevant course.
What Makes You Stand Out
You’re an ideas person who brings creativity and innovation to program design.
You exude positive energy and enthusiasm that inspires both participants and staff.
