We’re looking for a Qualified Mechanic / Assistant Manager to join our crew — someone confident on the tools and ready to take on a key leadership role within our busy workshop.

About the Role:
This position blends hands-on mechanical work with leadership and coordination. You’ll handle diagnostics and repairs, assist in managing daily workshop operations, mentor apprentices, and support management in ensuring smooth, efficient workflow and great customer experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

Perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a variety of vehicles

Help manage day-to-day workshop operations and job scheduling

Lead, mentor, and support apprentices and junior techs

Communicate clearly with customers and suppliers

Maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organised workspace

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Automotive Mechanic (Cert III or higher)

Strong diagnostic and repair skills

Experience in a senior technician, controller, or leadership role (preferred)

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Professional, reliable, and proactive attitude

What We Offer:

$80,000 – $100,000 base salary (depending on experience)
