We’re a locally owned workshop with over 25 years of reputation in Townsville. Gallon’s Auto is now under new ownership, and we’re building a team where people matter – you’re not just another number on the books here.

Mechanic in our Townsville, Queensland workshop. This is a full-time role offering a highly competitive salary, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, and the opportunity to earn KPI-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models

Perform routine maintenance and servicing to the highest standards

Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice

Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken

Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

What We're Looking For

Formal qualification in automotive mechanics (Certificate III or above)

Proven experience as a mechanic, ideally 2+ years

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities

Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry developments

A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
