TFH Hire Services Pty Ltd are construction & event specialists with a fleet of trucks and forklifts.

Located at Kingston on the Southside of Brisbane, we are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team.

You’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of trucks, forklifts and company cars. You’ll work in a fully equipped workshop and occasionally assist for on-road breakdowns or maintenance.

Key responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems

Perform routine maintenance and scheduled servicing

Use diagnostic tools and software for fault-finding

Complete job cards, reports, and paperwork accurately

Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

Provide occasional on-road service repairs as needed

The successful candidate will:

Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)

Minimum 2+ years experience in a similar role

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship

Good communication and time management skills

HR licence and forklift licence (desirable but not essential)

A roadworthy licence would be highly advantageous
