Join the team at Ultra Tune Eight Mile Plains! We are looking for a skilled Automotive Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles while providing exceptional customer service.

To be considered for this role you must have:

- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent(or higher)

- At least one years of relevant experience in industry in similar position.

- You must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent resident or have legal working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and resolve performance issues in engines and other vehicle systems.

- Deliver preventative maintenance services to keep engines and vehicles operating at peak condition.

- Use diagnostic technology, service manuals, and technical expertise to troubleshoot complex engine and mechanical faults.

- Comply with Queensland safety standards and operational procedures when repairing or inspecting vehicles.

- Provide professional, transparent service to Ultra Tune Eight Mile Plains customers.

Main Tasks

- Inspect and identify problems in engines, transmissions, steering, and related vehicle systems.

- Remove and dismantle faulty engine assemblies and other mechanical components for repair or replacement.

- Overhaul, repair, or install new engine and mechanical parts, ensuring correct reassembly and operation.

- Perform scheduled maintenance services, including engine tune-ups, fluid changes, lubrication, and brake servicing.

- Use computer-based diagnostic tools and service manuals to test, adjust, and optimise engine and vehicle performance.

- Test and fine-tune repaired mechanical parts to ensure proper functioning.

- Maintain workshop tools and equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-standard servicing in line with Ultra Tune procedures.

Salary - $80000+ per annum
