Avery has two parts:
Avery Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
and
Avery Aesthetics.
Avery Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is a boutique plastic surgery practice, that supports people to make the medical and aesthetic choices that are right for them, without judgement and always with safety and ethical decision making at its core.
Avery Aesthetics is a medical skin health service with a luxury medispa feel and dedication to skin wellness through premium laser, light, and other treatments.
Specialist Plastic Surgeon, Dr Gary Avery (FRACS) is the Clinical leader of both services, and we are located in Newcastle’s East End. Occasional parking is possible otherwise surrounding street parking, Bolton St carpark, or other transport.
The Role
A front of house superstar dedicated to providing subtle yet considered customer service to our skin health and plastic surgery visitors.
You will be responsible for making everyone who walks through the door feel welcome and to build valued relationships so that you can support our clinicians in providing an elevated service.
You will also be the wider teams go to person for the support they need to deliver the high level of personal and administration care Avery is known for.
You will be responsible for looking after our skin health and plastic surgery visitors, checking them in and out of the clinic, inviting them to the considered space suitable for their appointment, making them a barista style beverage, organising our patient packs, keeping our waiting areas looking immaculate throughout the day, and other administration duties and tasks as delegated by the team.
You will develop an in-depth knowledge of the services we provide and our skin care. You will also be involved in the cleansing and client preparation process for our skin health visitors and clinical photography.

The essentials
Ideally, you have a background in a client facing role in any of the following sectors:
Medical aesthetics
Skin health
Plastic Surgery
Otherwise candidates in beauty therapy, hair, skin care, makeup or dermatology will also be considered.
You must curious about skin and committed to learning everything there is to know.
You must have administration skills (e.g, booking appointments, managing clinicians diaries etc) and tasks focused on facilitating the in-house experience of our patients.
You must have at least 2 years work experience in a similar role.
You must submit a short film about why this position is perfect for you and what you have to offer the future visitors to Avery.
Salary
We realise knowing what the remuneration is for this role will be important to you, however at Avery whether you are the right fit for our team is the most important element we are looking for. Your experience will dictate what we are prepared to offer you, the unique individual you are.
So our first goal is to look at whether you are right for Avery (and vice versa whether Avery is right for you!), and then explore what remuneration package reflects your experience to date and expectations for the future given the role. The role has a broad band for you to consider.
