The Role

As Finance Business Partner, you’ll step into the financial leadership role for a portfolio of complex, high-profile operations that demand both sharp commercial insight and practical problem-solving.

Your remit will include:

Provide financial, costing, and analytics in support of understanding and improving profitability.

Ensure the accuracy of the inventory records and remediation of discrepancies.

Analyse variances from the budget and report significant issues and proposed remedies to management

Monitor and report on routine financial and operating metrics to the management team.

Work with the Project Team to implement and optimise the MS Dynamics 365 ERP system across the business with the aim of improving reporting, reducing reporting timelines, systemising/automating the current manual systems that underpin the monthly process.

Manage the credit control process for the business. Ensuring customer credit checks and risk assessment are completed for all new customers and provide credit limit recommendations to the business, monitoring current customers' credit limits and risk profile.

Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts supported by detailed assumption and scenario workings and commentary.

Report monthly financial performance with commentary to site management .

Ensure completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Preparing financial statements.

Manage cash flow and monitor budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.

Oversee recording of the centrally processed payroll and associated labour costing into relevant cost centres.

Oversee daily transactions related to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Conduct periodic reconciliations of all supplier and receivable accounts to ensure their accuracy.

Support the business manager with commercial analysis to drive cost efficiencies and revenue maximisation opportunities.

About You

You’re a commercially experienced accountant in a forward facing role; resilient and thrive in environments where finance meets the front line. You’ve cut your teeth in agribusiness, manufacturing, or food production and know how to bring clarity to inventory, costing, and supply chain complexity.

Skills & Experience

End-to-end financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience

Strong background in inventory/costing environments (agribusiness or manufacturing)

Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA or equivalent)

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems (MYOB/D365 ideal)

Strong communication and influencing skills, and an ability to quickly build trust with executive stakeholders

Resilience and adaptability to succeed in dynamic, operationally diverse settings

Proactive and problem solving mindset
