The Role

As General Manager, you'll oversee every aspect of the bathhouse experience - from daily operations to guest journey, leadership, finance, team culture, and brand expression.

You'll be the heartbeat of the venue, ensuring every detail reflects the calm precision and warmth our guests will come to expect.

Commencing in Q1 2026, this role is ideal for an authentic someone who thrives in luxury wellness, hospitality, or spa environments and has the leadership depth to build and manage a new operation from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Guest Experience

· Lead day-to-day operations to deliver a seamless, premium bathhouse experience.

· Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and facility presentation.

· Implement service protocols that reflect luxury hospitality and wellness values.

· Oversee scheduling, bookings, and customer service.

Leadership & Team Development

· Recruit, train, and mentor staff.

· Build a positive, high-performance team culture.

· Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.

Financial & Commercial Management

· Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting.

· Drive revenue growth through guest visitation, retail, events, and partnerships.

· Monitor KPIs, occupancy, and customer feedback to optimise performance.

Marketing & Business Development

· Collaborate with owners and marketing partners on brand positioning, campaigns, and community engagement.

· Establish local partnerships with wellness providers, hotels, tourism operators and other local businesses.

· Champion the brand as a leader in wellness and lifestyle experiences.

Compliance & Risk Management

· Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

· Implement systems for incident management and emergency procedures.

· Maintain high standards of privacy, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Skills & Experience

· 5+ years' management experience in hospitality, wellness, spa, or lifestyle venues.

· Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire diverse teams.

· Experience managing teams of 10-30 people is essential for this role.

· Proven track record in operational excellence and financial management.

· Demonstrated P&L responsibility and financial accountability required.

· Knowledge of wellness, spa, or bathhouse traditions highly desirable.

· Exceptional guest service ethos with attention to detail.

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Australian work rights are required for this position.
