Your Role

As Assistant Hotel Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and fostering a team culture that reflects the values of respect, integrity, and community. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our venue while helping to grow our reputation as a cornerstone of Celtic hospitality in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing front-of-house and back-of-house operations

Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences

Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations

Support event coordination, especially Celtic Club functions and cultural gatherings

Maintain POS systems, rostering, and inventory management

Uphold the values and traditions of the Celtic and Irish communities in all aspects of service

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in hospitality or hotel management

Strong leadership and communication skills

A genuine appreciation for Irish and Celtic culture

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Familiarity with community engagement and cultural sensitivity

RSA and relevant hospitality certifications
