Take the next step in your support career
At Magenta, we believe great support starts with great people. That’s why we put our team at the heart of everything we do — offering flexibility, mentoring, and genuine career growth, while helping the people we support live safe, meaningful lives.
If you’ve been in the disability sector for a while and are ready for a new challenge, the Support Partner – Generalist role offers a mix of hands-on participant support (around 65%) and office-based coordination (around 35%). It’s perfect for someone who enjoys direct support but also wants to develop skills in rostering, mentoring, and supporting team operations.
What you’ll do:
Provide consistent, person-centred support to participants across a range of needs
Build professional relationships with participants, families, and key stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality
Support rostering and help maintain stable coverage for frontline staff
Assist in coordinating participant activities and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
Mentor and support other Support Workers through informal check-ins and guidance
Support staff to meet documentation standards and maintain accurate shift notes
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to on-call duties on a rotating basis to maintain service stability
What you’ll bring:
Experience as a Support Worker supporting people with disability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances
Good organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation
A supportive, team-first attitude
Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent (or working towards) — highly regarded
Familiarity with rostering or client management systems such as FlowLogic is an advantage
Why you’ll love working with Magenta:
A people-first culture — we support our staff as much as our participants
Hybrid work — combine hands-on support with coordination and mentoring responsibilities
Career growth opportunities within a supportive team
SCHADS Award Level 3.1 + a collaborative, friendly environment
Work that genuinely makes a difference every single day
