About Uplift Therapy
Uplift Therapy is an award-winning paediatric allied health practice located in Ballarat, Victoria, specialising in occupational therapy, speech pathology, and mental health services. As the winner of both the 2021 and 2024 Commerce Ballarat Health and Wellbeing Business of the Year awards, we demonstrate our ongoing commitment to growth and development as a practice.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to create an uplift in our families' lives. We provide holistic, collaborative, and neuro-affirming early intervention supports for children with developmental delays and disabilities, delivering services in clinic, home, school, or community settings. Our team goes above and beyond to cater to each client's specific needs, ensuring exceptional service tailored to individual circumstances.
At the heart of our practice are core values that guide everything we do. We believe in collaboration, teamwork, and open communication, working in true partnership with families. We firmly believe that parents and carers are the experts of their children, and we're passionate about working together as a team with the community surrounding each child. Our approach is strength-based and family-centred, focusing on empowering families to feel confident in helping their children achieve success.
As a registered NDIS Provider of Therapeutic Supports with certification to provide Early Childhood Intervention Services, we offer comprehensive support through NDIS-registered services, privately funded sessions, and Medicare/Private Health rebated appointments. We're particularly passionate about supporting children in educational settings, providing assessment, intervention, curriculum planning, and classroom support to schools and kindergartens across the region.
Uplift Therapy acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the traditional owners of country throughout Victoria, recognising their continuing connection to land, sea and community, and paying our respects to their cultures and to elders both past and present.
