Workforce Engagement Administration Officer – Aged Care Sector | 0.73 FTE | 9:00am to 3:00pm daily Monday to Friday | Workplace: On Site | Permanent Part Time | $38.65 per hour + super

About Us

South West Community Care is a not-for-profit Organisation and Registered Charity local to the South West, providing aged care and in-home services to the local community. It is managed by a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who is supported by a Chief Governance Officer and Management Team overseeing operations and supporting a team of over 120 employees and volunteers. The CEO, in conjunction with a volunteer Board of Management, sets the strategic direction for the organisation.

South West Community Care is managed locally and embraces the ‘Wellness’ Approach when delivering care to eligible older Australians in the Community approximately 1000 clients currently, providing services designed to maintain independence dignity and quality of life for our ageing community. These services are delivered by compassionate and caring staff working within the guidelines set out by the Aged Care Charter of Rights and Code of Conduct for Aged Care to deliver person centred care to optimise positive outcomes.

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Employee Engagement Officer, the purpose of your role is:

To provide administrative and operational support to the Careers and Engagement Team. This position assists with recruitment administration, onboarding coordination, uniform management, and general workforce documentation to ensure an efficient and positive experience for candidates and employees.

Position Responsibilities

  • As a Workforce Engagement Administration Officer, your responsibilities span the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial client engagement to onboarding new hires.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand job requirements.
  • Screening and evaluating candidates.
  • Making employment offers and creating employment contract.
  • Assisting with onboarding.

To thrive in this role you will have:

  • Certificate III in Business, Administration, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a broad range of daily activities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, & independence.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 including Excel at a basic level.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow process and systems while being adaptable to change.
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and willingness to provide relief coverage of the reception.

Office Base Location

Based at the Australind Office but will be required to work from other sites.
