What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Internal Communication, this role will be responsible for:
delivering strategic storytelling through written articles, videos and multimedia content that engages and informs our people
working closely with subject matter experts across the business to plan and implement communication campaigns
supporting moderation and maintenance of key digital internal communication channels – including our SharePoint intranet and Viva Engage – to ensure content is timely, accurate and accessible
support the planning and delivery of internal staff events (in-person, online and hybrid)
assist in the promotion and application of appropriate internal communication channel use, content, language and accessibility principles.
What you will bring to the role
Demonstrated experience in the delivery of effective and engaging communication
Ability to create videos using mobile phones, Adobe Premiere Pro and other multimedia tools
Ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively with stakeholders to meet deadlines

The Victorian Electoral Commission is an independent and impartial statutory authority established under Victoria's Electoral Act 2002.
The VEC conducts Victorian State elections, local council elections, certain statutory elections and polls, and commercial and community elections.
