With the family-owned Château a major Barossa a growing wine lovers destination, we are looking for new casual team members to help us meet our growing visitation.

About the role

We are currently searching for casual Cellar Door and Hospiality Team Members t to help us with our busy cellar door and wine experiences area, where you can have a direct and long-lasting impact on our brand and business.

You will provide unique experiences for all our visitors by sharing our stories and delivering exceptional customer service.

Provide a great consumer experience to all customers. Love interacting with people and creating memorable experiences

Have fun selling and up-selling in a fast-paced environment

Ensure continuity of service across the cellar door and 'best practice' expectations are met and visitor experience is in line with brand standards across the team.

Cellar Door administration: End-of-day procedures, reporting and finance support for Cellar Door Manager and daily email management.

Assist in delivering on and off-site Cellar Door events and tastings as part of the activity and promo plan.

Be passionate about wine and able to tailor your customer service delivery whilst having fun

Be a team player with creativity and a can-do attitude

Opportunity to also work with our regular functions and events space, and hosting group visits.

Valid SA Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is required.

About you

We are searching for someone who is experienced in cellar door sales or a hospitality background, and brings a passion for hospitality and the wine industry. You will be known for your superior service skills and ability to influence and create memorable experiences for visitors.

A great people person, you will love engaging and educating our visitors and helping build our brand ambassadors. You might be a budding wine enthusiast new to cellar doors, a hospitality drinks specialist who'd prefer to switch to days, or a seasoned cellar door sales professional looking for a new challenge. We want to hear from you!

Competitive casual hourly rate at the Wine Industry Award

Cellar Door opening hours are 10am-5pm. You need to be prepared to have availability to work 2 to 4 days a week across a 7-day roster, including weekends, school holidays and occasionally evenings.
