Operations Supervisor – Fixed Term - 6 Month Contract

Salary Package: $126,859 per annum plus super

Join the City of Karratha’s Asset Maintenance team in this hands-on leadership role supporting vital infrastructure works across the region. This fixed-term, 6-month opportunity offers an attractive salary and a range of benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervise and coordinate Council’s road construction, drainage, and maintenance works.
• Support the Manager Asset Maintenance and Operations Coordinator with daily operations.
• Lead and guide work teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee plant operations, civil works, and traffic management activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and Council standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Current C Class Driver’s Licence (MR/HR Licence desirable).
• Basic Traffic Management accreditation and willingness to obtain Worksite Traffic Management (WTM) Certification.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Proven experience in road construction and maintenance for local government, Main Roads, or contractors.
• Frontline management qualifications and/or extensive supervisory experience.
• Experience operating various earthmoving and civil plant equipment.
• Current National (or Federal) Police Clearance (within 6 months).
