Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting including AP/AR, bank reconciliations and journals

Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, payroll tax and superannuation

Handle month-end and year-end reporting cycles

Support budgeting and variance analysis with accurate data

Oversee payroll and maintain employee records (Employment Hero experience ideal)

Maintain financial accuracy within Odoo ERP and assist with system improvements

Collaborate with the CFO on financial reporting and process implementation

Ensure compliance with ATO, statutory and internal audit requirements

What We’re Looking

For Accounting qualifications (Cert IV, Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance)

3 – 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

Strong technical accounting skills and system mindset

Experience with ERP platforms (Odoo highly advantageous)

Proven experience with monthly and year-end reporting BAS, IAS and payroll compliance experience

Ability to work independently with attention to detail and deadlines

Hands-on, flexible approach - happy to roll up sleeves and get things done
