Woods & Co have partnered with a reputable and fast-growing provider of end-to-end building and maintenance services across Melbourne. Our client is known for our commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. They work with a diverse portfolio of clients across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

As they continue to expand, we’re seeking an experienced and proactive HR Coordinator to join their close-knit Melbourne team. This pivotal role will see you working closely with Director’s and Operations Manager managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to training, compliance, and HR systems improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver comprehensive end-to-end HR services in collaboration with the Director and Operations Manager.
  • Manage the full recruitment and onboarding process for employees and subcontractors.
    Oversee day-to-day HR enquiries, including remuneration, offboarding, and employee relations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and employee data.
  • Provide guidance and interpretation of the Fair Work Act, relevant Awards, and remuneration frameworks.
    Support payroll processes through timesheet management, payroll input, and leave tracking.
  • Coordinate training, professional development, and performance review activities.
  • Respond to general employee enquiries and support daily HR operations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and processes, collaborating closely with internal departments.

What you’ll need:

  • 3-4 years in similar HR, Parole and Culture position
  • Experience in construction or maintenance field (desired)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive nature, willingness to learn
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Great personality and love to have a laugh
