Our client is a well-known FMCG brand experiencing rapid growth. They are looking to appoint a Social Media & Content Assistant to join their team in St Leonards.

In this role, you will report to the Marketing Specialist and be responsible for the day-to-day management and growth of our social media platforms. You will create engaging photo and video content that highlights our products and brand, working closely with the Marketing Specialist to support promotional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and publish original photo and short video content that aligns with the brand and product strengths

Manage daily operations of social media accounts (posting, replying, community engagement) and increase followers and engagement

Collaborate with the Marketing team on campaigns, promotions and brand event execution

Maintain a positive brand image by responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. Handle customer questions and complaints.

Identify and coordinate with influencers, bloggers, and partners to expand brand exposure and promotional channels

Coordinate across internal departments to represent the customer voice and ensure smooth communication

Support some administrative and team tasks as required

About You:

Previous experience in social media management or content creation

Proven skills in using a camera or smartphone to shoot photos and videos

Proven skills in video or image creation and editing

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to respond to audiences in a friendly, helpful, and brand-consistent manner

Ability to work in a team and collaborative environment

Organised, detail-oriented, and emotionally stable under pressure
