The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in leading and supporting multiple McDonald’s restaurants to deliver outstanding results across all pillars of People, Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

This role requires a strong operational leader who can drive performance, develop future leaders, and uphold the McDonald’s brand through excellence, consistency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Development

Lead, coach, and inspire Restaurant Managers and leadership teams to achieve excellence in all aspects of operations.

Build leadership capability across multiple sites through structured coaching and mentoring.

Identify and develop high-potential employees to strengthen succession planning.

Promote a culture of accountability, inclusion, teamwork, and pride in performance.

Operational Excellence

Conduct regular in-restaurant visits to assess performance and ensure alignment with McDonald’s standards.

Drive excellence in Food Safety, Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).

Support rollout of new McDonald’s initiatives, technologies, and training programs.

Champion operational consistency and continuous improvement across all restaurants.

Business Performance & Financial Accountability

Analyse restaurant financial results (sales, labour, profitability, waste, etc.) and implement improvement plans.

Ensure achievement of key performance indicators across operations, labour management, and profitability.

Collaborate with managers to deliver cost efficiency without compromising service or standards.

Partner with the Franchisee and senior leaders to set strategic goals and deliver strong business results.

Strategic Growth & Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational systems and processes.

Lead projects that enhance efficiency, innovation, and long-term business sustainability.

Contribute to business development discussions and support new store or refurbishment projects.

Community & Brand Engagement

Represent the McDonald’s brand with professionalism and pride in local communities.

Support local marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and community partnerships that strengthen the brand.

About You

You are an energetic and results-driven leader with proven experience in a multi-site or senior management role within McDonald’s or the broader QSR/hospitality industry.

You thrive in fast-paced environments, inspire confidence, and are passionate about developing others.

You will bring:

Demonstrated operational leadership experience across multiple locations

Strong financial literacy and ability to analyse and act on P&L results

Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills

Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams

Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving

Knowledge of McDonald’s systems, standards, and compliance frameworks

Preference will be given to candidates who are McDonald’s trained, ideally having completed leadership courses up to and including Leading Great Restaurants (LGR)
