Our client, a leading name in the oil & gas and energy sector, is on the lookout for an experienced Senior Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join their high-performing team. This is a dynamic role for a professional with RPEQ (mandatory) and CPEng (desirable), who is passionate about power systems design and modelling across both LV and HV networks.
Key Responsibilities:

• Execute detailed power systems modelling using PTW (PowerTools for Windows), GroundMat, and the full suite of ETAP tools.
• Conduct advanced electrical studies including:
• Load Flow Analysis
• Fault Level Determination
• Protection Coordination
• Arc Flash Analysis
• Earthing/Grounding System Design

• Perform CT selection and calculations for both protection and metering.
• Deliver detailed electrical designs across all engineering phases – concept, FEED, and execution.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality technical reports and studies.
• Engage with stakeholders and clients confidently in a client-facing capacity.

Requirements:

• RPEQ accreditation (Essential); CPEng highly regarded.
• Strong experience in power systems design, modelling and analysis (LV & HV).
• Deep understanding of industry modelling tools: ETAP, PTW, GroundMat.
• Demonstrated experience in the oil & gas, mining, or energy sectors.
• Offshore experience is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability in client engagement.
