The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Project Engineer who can wear multiple hats: estimator, planner, coordinator, on-site leader. You will be part of the action from day one, including but not limited to: pricing work, supporting tender submissions, assisting with managing crews on site if required, and driving project outcomes right through to completion.

This is a hands-on, site-based role. You will be where the work is, that can be across metro Melbourne, regional Victoria, NSW, or interstate. We don’t do cookie-cutter projects, every site brings new challenges, new locations, and a chance to grow your impact.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

· Estimating and pricing civil and earthworks projects

· Supporting tender preparation and feasibility analysis

· Overseeing project delivery from planning to completion

· Managing contracts, budgets, claims, and variations

· Conducting GPS surveys, inspections, and reporting

· Coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and councils

· Leading safety, environmental, and quality compliance

· Mentoring site crews and working closely with the Director and Foremen

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

· Has a Civil Engineering degree and 3–5+ years in a project/site engineer role

· Has proven civil construction experience, earthworks, roads, dams, subdivisions

· Is confident in estimating, cost tracking, and project forecasting

· Knows their way around AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GPS tools, and construction software

· Communicates clearly and leads by example

· Loves being on-site, in the thick of it, not just behind a desk

· Is happy to travel and work away (we cover everything!)

· Brings energy, accountability, and a great attitude to the team
