An experienced HR Business Partner is required for a Perth-based role within the mining sector.

Our client is a renowned organisation within the Australian resources sector. With operations spanning remote and regional sites, the organisation fosters a culture of safety, inclusion, and performance.

The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in aligning human resources strategy with operational objectives while ensuring compliance with all relevant Australian employment legislation. This position requires a proactive and legally astute professional who can provide strategic and operational HR support for their Perth corporate office.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders to deliver operational and strategic HR initiatives that enhance workforce capability and engagement
  
• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and dispute resolution, with a strong focus on legal compliance and risk mitigation
  
• Provide advice, coaching and development on contemporary policies, processes, procedures and legislation
  
• Analyse workforce data to support evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement
  
• Contribute to workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
  
• Facilitation of leadership and management training
  
• Promote and support diversity, equity, and inclusion
  

To be successful in your application, you will possess:

• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
  
• Demonstrated knowledge of generalist human resources and Australian industrial relations frameworks, including modern awards and enterprise agreements
  
• Prior experience in the resources, mining, or heavy industry sectors is highly desirable
  
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across all organisational levels
  
• A strategic mindset with a commitment to legislative compliance and operational excellence
  

This position will be based in Perth CBD and offers hybrid working.
