Hazelbark is hiring a full time Barista

Hazelbark is a new micro- bakery in Preston. We produce exceptional freshly baked goods. We have already built a great reputation with Melbourne locals at our farmers market stalls with our products and customer service.

We provide a safe and progressive work environment with strong values around positivity, respect and kindness. We are a small team so you must be able to work well with others and independently.

We focus on providing excellent coffee, pastries and consistent homely customer service. We pride ourselves on delivering a very consistent product with a smile.

We are proudly serving Pillar coffee, at a volume of 12kg-20kg a week.

You'll be working on La Marzocco 3 group and Mazzer Majorv grinder.

We are conveniently located a 1 minute walk from Preston Station (Mernda line) and the local bus network. We also have ample parking at Preston station if you drive.

Requirements for this role:

· 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role

· Coffee shop or café experience is essential for this position

· Full time hours

· Looking for candidates who are available to work:

6:45 am- 7:30 start 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday

· Australian work rights required for this role

· This is an immediate start position

· RSA certification is preferred but candidates can be flexible with this requirement

Role Responsibilities

• Have an eye for detail and serving all beverages at a high standard in a timely manner

• Knowledgeable and confident in specialty coffee production ; dialling in espresso + single origin, batch brew, latte art

• Creating positive customer experiences and enjoy engaging in friendly conversation and building rapport with customers.

• Ability to collaborate efficiently with in a small productive team environment and values teamwork
