Inventory Co-ordinator (Operational Readiness) Location: Perth CBD | Flexible Working Arrangements

A tier 1 mining client is recruiting for a 12-month secondment as an Inventory Specialist (Operational Readiness), supporting major projects across the business.

Role Overview
The Inventory Co-ordinator (Operational Readiness) will be responsible for planning and delivering inventory and logistics readiness activities. This role is critical to improving operational efficiency, optimising supply chain processes, and enabling successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment with inventory and logistics functional requirements
• Set up material master data, including cataloguing, classification, and stocking strategy development
• Optimise inventory levels and ensure compliance with preservation standards
• Implement warehouse and logistics procedures to meet stakeholder needs safely and efficiently
• Balance project customer requirements with supply chain capabilities to ensure material availability
• Collaborate with major project teams to define and deliver operational readiness scope
• Support evidence-based decision-making through analysis and information sourcing
• Engage with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless coordination

Candidate Profile

• Strong understanding of inventory and work management processes
• Demonstrated experience in inventory analytics and strategy
• Advanced SAP skills are essential, particularly in materials management and logistics modules.
• Proactive mindset, attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and effective communication
• Proven ability to influence in a professional environment
• Skilled in problem-solving, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement solutions

Work Environment This role is based in modern, easily accessible offices in the Perth CBD. Flexible working arrangements are available, including the option to work from home up to two days per week.
