Join a central cyber security unit to design and deliver a new, intelligence-led red teaming program that lifts cyber governance, risk and assurance across the Queensland public sector. You will set the direction, coordinate internal teams and specialist suppliers, and turn outcomes into clear executive insights that drive resilience.

About the Role

In this delivery-focused role, you will lead coordinated red teaming across a complex environment.

• Define and lead the end-to-end red teaming program, from scope to outcomes.
• Plan and run exercises aligned to agreed tools, techniques and task specifications.
• Produce executive-ready reports and share cross-sector lessons learned.
• Apply disciplined planning, risk, change, quality and resource management.
• Monitor and report benefits, risks, issues, dependencies, schedule and spend.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party providers to deliver outcomes and value.

About You

You bring hands-on assurance experience and the influence to make change happen.

• Deep understanding of red team engagements across physical, digital and human vectors.
• Track record delivering proactive assurance or cyber projects in complex environments.
• Skilled stakeholder and vendor engagement, with clear written and verbal executive comms.
• Strategic, collaborative and adaptable, able to balance competing priorities.
• Vendor, contract and resource management experience; SMEAC planning exposure desirable.
• Able to obtain NV1 clearance; OSCP, CRTP, GPEN, CREST and program delivery quals valued.
