Opportunity to join a newly formed Transformation Management Office (TMO) within a large Government client and their Infrastructure Services Division. We are seeking a seasoned transformation specialist to lead the uplift of project and program management maturity across the division. This is a strategic contract role focused on setup, delivery, and handover

This role will be instrumental in establishing foundational practices, governance, and tools to support consistent and effective project delivery across a significant infrastructure portfolio.Key Responsibilities

• Create fit-for-purpose tools, templates, and playbooks for consistent project delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders across all levels, including executives and board members.
• Deliver strategic upskilling and awareness training to internal staff.
• Establish risk and issue management processes aligned with audit/compliance standards.
• Transfer knowledge and hand over a sustainable toolkit to permanent TMO staff.

About You

• Proven experience establishing a TMO or similar transformation office.
• Ability to retrospectively assess and guide strategic decisions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Hands-on, practical problem solver with the ability to influence and drive change.
• Familiarity with program/project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile) and governance frameworks.
• Public sector experience is desirable but not essential.
