We're seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist to join a large-scale transformation project within the Queensland Government. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in modernising critical systems that support justice and tribunal services for Queenslanders.

About the Role
As part of a collaborative digital project team, you will be responsible for planning and executing the end-to-end data migration between legacy and new platforms. You'll work closely with solution architects, business analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and a seamless transition into a Microsoft Dynamics environment.

This is a hands-on technical role that combines data analysis, migration design, and execution - perfect for someone who thrives in structured yet fast-paced government project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, script, and execute data migration activities.
• Conduct detailed data mapping and analysis.
• Develop and implement migration and decommissioning strategies.
• Oversee data reconciliation, validation, and quality assurance.
• Report on migration progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration scope and requirements.

About You
We're looking for someone with:

• 5+ years' experience in data migration delivery.
• Proven experience migrating data to Microsoft Dynamics or similar enterprise systems.
• Strong data analysis and SQL scripting skills.
• Background working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Highly Regarded

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in government, legal, or justice-related environments.
• Exposure to multi-domain or complex data landscapes.
