The Opportunity:

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic mechanical engineering technicians to complement our growing team. Numerous roles will be based out of Sydney Melbourne and Brisbane. We have secured several large projects across Australia & are looking for individuals who are seeking a new challenge.

In this role you will work across several areas of our operations to aid & develop your skills in our unique industry.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

Inhouse & Onsite work which included testing, inspection and certification of customers lifting gear, engineered and Height safety assets.

Assessment of lifting gear for repair and maintenance.

Installation & maintenance of ropes, sheaves & rope attachments for critical services.

Design, manufacture and maintain bespoke lifting & measuring devices.

Height safety inspections (including harnesses, lanyards, etc.) & installations.

Lifting gear test, tag & repair

Proof loading testing & reporting.

This role will excite you if you are passionate about the industry, are highly organised and have a strong attention to detail. Experience in and/or knowledge of the lifting/construction industry is highly desirable.

Base Salary for these roles will be between $76,000 - $80,000.00 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for over-time are also available. Please note that is full-time position only at this time.

What you will bring to Ranger

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Minimum 3 years of work experience

An understanding of Australian or ISO lifting Standards

High Risk Licence (Dogging/Basic rigging or higher).

Natural mechanical aptitude.

EWP ticket (can be provided).

Working at heights ticket (can be provided).

General Safety Induction in the Construction Industry
