Permanent Role | Afternoon & Night Shifts |

Cordina Group is a recognised leader in the ‘Value Added’ food manufacturing sector, supplying Australia’s major supermarkets with high-quality, ready-to-cook products.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the Girraween site. This role will be key in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our production facilities while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Design mechanical equipment, machines, components, and plant systems for manufacture and construction

Develop specifications and determine materials, equipment, piping, flows, capacities, and layouts of plant systems

Organise and manage project labour, materials, and equipment delivery

Establish standards and policies for installation, modification, testing, inspection, and maintenance in line with engineering and safety regulations

Inspect plant operations to ensure optimum performance

Direct the maintenance of plant buildings and equipment, coordinating requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules

✅ Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field

Experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or plant engineering

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)

Strong communication and teamwork skills
