Eastgate on the Range Motel are hiring a Chef and a Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: Toowoomba Queensland

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

1. Chef (Casual) 2- 3 evenings a week

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to manage our motel’s kitchen operations and provide delicious, high-quality meals for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals for Restaurant 22 and Room service

Manage kitchen inventory

Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are maintained

Work efficiently in a small kitchen environment

Requirements:

Previous experience as a cook or chef (motel or hospitality experience a plus)

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

2. Housekeeping Supervisor (casual)

We’re also seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our motel rooms and facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and train housekeeping staff

Conduct room inspections and maintain quality standards

Manage housekeeping supplies and inventory

Coordinate cleaning schedules and report maintenance needs

Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping, with supervisory experience preferred

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Ability to work efficiently and maintain attention to detail

Available to work flexible hours, including weekends
